Programs and Getting Started
Constantly Varied Workouts:
All of the training programs at Wine Country CrossFit are constantly varied workouts that challenge you mentally and physically to build functional strength. What is functional strength? It’s the strength you need to jump out of the way of an unexpected flying ball; it’s the force that you need to get the cat food on the top shelf; it’s the stamina you need to run down the street to the movie theatre so you don’t miss the beginning of your show. Whether you’re a world class athlete or a grandmother, our workouts are scalable to you and your needs.
Getting Started
- If you are an experienced CrossFitter then please feel free to join any of our group classes. Just give us a call to let us know you’re coming, and arrive 5 minutes early to sign the waiver.
- If you are new to CrossFit then we invite you to a FREE introductory class. During your hour with us we will introduce you to some movements, explain some of the CrossFit methodology, and run you through a short workout of the day, or WOD. By the end of that hour you will know whether CrossFit is right for you. The next step for most people is our six-class On-Ramp Program.
- On-Ramp Program: This six-class series teaches you 11 of the basic movements we use in CrossFit. In each class we present new movements and practice them in a short workout such that they become familiar and maybe even natural. If you are new to CrossFit it is mandatory that you start with our On-Ramp Program.
- If CrossFit seems right for you, but you’re not ready for the On-Ramp Program and group classes, please read below for your great choices.
Personal Training
If you are not ready to join one of the CrossFit group classes we recommend personal training or private coaching to learn the foundational Crossfit skills and improve your base fitness. Personal Training is also available as a means to meet an athlete’s specific needs and training goals.

Team or Group Fitness Coaching & Training

CrossFit Kids
Developing functional strength for kids builds their self esteem and confidence, and we do it via games and fun. Whether your kids need added conditioning for their sport, or are merely looking for something to get them moving after school, our CrossFit Kids Fitness Program gets the job done.
